The forest guardian is a grippli volunteer that has been transmuted permanently into this form, to defend against external threats and maintain the balance of nature.

+Thaddeus "Ted" Bramble is an ancient human druid, that is permanently merged with a tree, in the enchanted forest near [[New New New Jerusalem]]. He came to be this way after a deadly wild magic eruption occurred, during an altercation with a franchise of [[Verdant Expansion Co]] a few hundred years in the past, when he destroyed their original crystal drill, that was used to break the seal on the arcane wellspring under the forest.
