Big Succ is the principal technology primarily developed by Hoover Schlorp for use by The Ivory Tower; it operates on a principal of collecting and storing life energy from living organisms.
The energy, when collected, is primarily stored in gemstones and advanced, magical constructs.
When life energy is collected from a living organism, it has the observed consequence of causing them to devolve and deteriorate into progressively lesser forms of life before expiration occurs as a pool of inanimate slime.
Notable implementations of this technology include the "Big Succ Gem" originally installed in the top of Tiefstein Tower, when it was still operated by Hoover; as well as the more advanced, and devastating, implementation in the Ivory Tower Spelljammer.
Use of this technology can be considered a weapon of mass destruction and a warcrime when used upon sentient life forms.
